Blackberry are seriously making a come back! A while ago I gave a quick update on hearing about the new BlackBerry Smart phone, the ‘Torch.’ A couple of months later BlackBerry have now advertised the release of a gadget that looks highly similar to the iPad….. Business rivalry, competition…. Interesting that they come up with something like this.

So it seems as though BlackBerry are holding strong in the smartphone industry. I actually like the look of this. The price is still yet to be confirmed, the Playbook will be commercially available early 2011. A late Christmas present for some I guess. I’m not too sure about the name ‘Playbook’ though. It sounds quite young and almost like a games console, let’s see how BlackBerry do.
I heard Tyler Perry speaking about this up coming movie whilst be interviewed with Janet Jackson about ‘Why Did I Get Married Too.’ I have always been a fan of Tyler Perry’s productions. Those who have heard of Tyler Perry will definitely know about Madea and the whole series of madness that follows his plays. More recently Mr Perry has taken his ideas to the big movie screen.
‘For Colored Girls’ looks like a real deep movie. Featuring a large cast of well known black females such as, Whoopi Goldberg, Thandi Newton, Kerry Washington, Janet Jackson and Anika Noni Rose, this film is set to be released in November of this year. Portraying a realistic representation based on Ntozke Shange’s play of what it is like to be a woman of color in this world. Hopefully it will reach the UK cinemas….
Ok.. so the biggest company for supplying condoms to the nation have teamed up with X Factor boy band JLS to release their own brand of Durex JLS Condoms. Interesting….. As a Marketing graduate I totally understand the concept of celebrity endorsement, but really?? A product such as this, and JLS… I’m really not sure how this is going to turn out but let’s hope they achieve their objective.
Check out the interview I had with my boy Wil over at FatKidOnline! Show some love.
